Watercolors are my medium of choice, primarily using photographs as references for my paintings. I also enjoy other art forms, including the unique challenge of creating in real time using charcoal or pastels in portraits, figure drawings, still lifes, or just the black pen in my purse sketchbook. Embroidery by machine has become a major part of my repertoire, while working with fiber in hand embroidery and needlepoint is rewarding too. I have a mac on which I design and illustrate, and a printer that makes archival quality reproductions. Small scale balsa wood carvings as well as altering a collection of vintage rhinestones to make them wearable round out how I fill my days. Here, you will see many examples of my work, enjoy your visit and thanks for your interest.
